Our privacy policy

Shielded NZ Limited, trading as Shielded Insurance Brokers, provides financial advice as an Authorised Body under the Financial Advice Provider licence held by Community Broker Network NZ Limited (“CBN NZ”). We handle your personal information in accordance with the CBN NZ Privacy Policy, which applies across the CBN NZ network and sets out how personal information is collected, used, disclosed and handled under the Privacy Act 2020 and the information privacy principles.

By providing us with your personal information, you consent to it being handled as described in that policy, unless you tell us otherwise. A copy is also available by contacting us.

What we collect on this website

When you request a quote through this website, we collect the details you give us — such as your name, contact details, region, and information about what you want to insure — so a broker can prepare your quote and contact you. We share that information with CBN NZ (whose systems we operate within) and, where needed, with insurers and underwriting agencies to obtain terms for you.
